Alright, so I forgot to show off the awesome yarns I got at the LYS when I was in Boulder the weekend before last. 

Also here are some new pics of my crazy kitties!

So here is Gizmo with his latest catch!  He didn't eat anything but the the tail, and then played with it for hours.  I finally ended up throwing it over the fence, hopefully a bird eats it or something.   Gizmo also learned how to get over the fence this weekend!  The brave/dumb cat has also decided that he doesn't care if we are watching him or not when he does it!  He wasn't very happy when he kept getting shut in the house, but it's his own darn fault!  Then poor Salem had to be shut in too.  She took it a lot better than he did, as you can see she doesn't mind just chillin on the couch!  She's getting kind of chunky too!

Sigh, in other knitting news...Friday I was asked if I could make 40 pair of custom handwarmers for a marketing firm in Beverly Hills!  But, they wanted them by Dec. 1!  At first it was YES, OF COURSE! NO PROBLEM!  then after a couple hours of thinking about it, and several hours trying to get the sample just right, I cam to realize that there was just no way that I could possibly do it in 3wks, and still keep my sanity!  Between my two jobs, school and homework...I wouldn't have been able to sleep!   It was very hard to email the gal back and tell her it just wasn't possible.  It would have been a very nice chunk of change just before Christmas, and a great way to get my name out there...but sometimes it's a harsh reality to admit that I just can't do everything.  It's the first time in a very long time that I have had to say I couldn't do something.  I pretty much hate it!

Also for the first time in the last couple of months I didn't post a single new item to my Etsy page on Sunday night.  I have a couple of things completed, but I haven't gotten photo's taken yet.  I ended up sleeping quite a bit this weekend.  This whole 7 days a week, go, go, go stuff is starting to wear on me.  Hopefully this week won't be as bad/busy as last week, and by next monday I will have regained some of my sanity!

I am sooo happy it's Friday!  this has been the longest, busiest week for me! 

I got to spend last weekend completely on vacation!  I went to visit my Mr. Awesome in Boulder.  It was really only vacation for me tho, he still had lots of work to be doing.  I felt bad because he kept apologizing for having work to do.  He's in grad school, I can't expect anything less!  I'm happy to just sit next to him by the creek while he reads his papers, or sit on the bed and knit while he writes his papers.  I just like to be near him!

Anywho, as soon as I got back...it was right back to being busy nearly every minute of the day!  Work Monday morning, then class, and homework after class!  Tues, Work, then homework, then class then more homework until 2am!  Wed I had work, and then an Acct test.  I felt very confident when I walked out of the room Wed night!  I'm on a mission to make this my 4.0 GPA semester!  So far I already have 1 "A" in the bag, another pretty much guarenteed "A" coming..this Acct class is the only one I am really going to have to work for.  Totally do-able!  Thurs (yesterday) was my 13hr work day, and I forgot to change my shoes before work, so my feet were killing me by the end of the night.

Tonight I get to do some laundry, clean house and KNIT!  I haven't had a minute to pick up my knitting this week.  It makes me sad!  I only had 2 things finished to post to my Etsy store on Sunday night, but one of them sold the very next day so that was really exciting!

Goal for the weekend...get AT LEAST 4 things completed to post on Sunday night.  of course I will be shooting for more, but that's my personal min goal. 

Sometime this weekend I also have to upload a bunch of pictures and decide which one I'm going to use for my xmas card this year, and get those ordered.  I can't believe it's November already!  This year has gone by so freakin quick!

i'm still very sick, and i really hate it!

but...i did manage to get some awesome work done this last week!

I can't believe it's already MONDAY!  where did my weekend go?  It went to waking up at 4am to work at the coffee shop, and then the rest of both days "napping" and being lazy. 

I'm not sure if it's just me being lazy, or if I can truly claim to be over doing things, and maybe just maybe pushing myself a little hard.  Honestly I think it's a combo.  I've worked more before, but still, it has to all catch up sometime.

I have 10 days until the big trip to Boulder to see my Mr. Awesome, and his boxers are only about half way done, lol, and I have a feeling I should stop now, and just start over.  They seem a lil "big" as in they would fit me, and he is about 10" small in the waist than I!  Especially with the yarn I'm using, it has a lot of stretch to it, I need to make them almost to small, lol, wouldn't want them falling off! ;)

I did finish an awesome beanie for his roommate. (i know, i know, i need pictures!  but i usually blog while i'm at work, and my camera is sitting at home on my desk!)  His roommate said "i have an abnorally large head"....i'm not sure what that means!  So I made a "large" beanie, I hope he was exaggerating, or maybe is just unsure what a normal size head is for a guy...I suppose we will find out!  I'm considering making a 2nd beanie for him....just in case?!

I had a coworker request that I make a scarf for his girlfriend, that's kind of cool! 

I also have 2 finished beanies that I have yet to take pictures of so I can post them on Etsy. 

Tonight...sooo many things to do tonight!  I have to clean my bathroom, because my other roommae is officially moving in next weekend, so I have to make room for her things, I need to finally get some darn pictures taken, I need to work on the boxers, possibly get more yarn for them, I need to buy a skien of tan or toupe Paton's Grace to make another beanie for Mr. A, oh, and finish up some homework that's due tomorrow night! 

Oh to sneak in a nap too, that would be perfect!  In all reality, tonight i'll be lucky to get the bathroom clean and work on the boxers while watching the new episode of Raising the Bar, and finish up my homework.
